First seen on MyFonts: March 17th, 2003 MekanikAs the name suggests, this strong geometric font reflects the ultimate in simple mechanical sans serif type design. Designed by the accomplished British artist David Quay, Mekanik effectively echoes the type styles developed by the Soviet Constructivists of the early 1920’s for which there is a strong resurgence in interest. Excellent for use where a feeling of precision or strength is required. British designer David Quay used a simple grid formula to capture the feeling of speed, precision and strength in this effective complement to the enormously popular Mekanik typeface. Suitable for a variety of contemporary headline applications. Not quite what you’re looking for? Try looking at more fonts like this. |
