Booster

Booster was developed taking into account the special features of cyrillic characters. Attention was paid to two simple things - letterspace and extenders. In the cyrillic alphabet in comparison with the roman alphabet there are fewer letters with ascenders. With regard for this, all descenders are increased for the best recognition of letters in the line. Furthermore, the text typed by cyrillic alphabet has large letterspacing than its Latin analog - this is reached by the increased letterspaces. In addition to Booster was developed BoosterAmp with reduced letterspaces and thinner and more accurate outlines of letters make it possible to work with the large point sizes where this it is necessary: in headlines, the placard graphic arts and advertisements.
