Some words from Letraset:

British designer Alan Birch was inspired by the way type looks on FAX transmissions when he created Bitmax. He began with Helvetica Medium and worked through a process of controlled distortions to create this commanding, high-tech style. Bitmax looks best when used in large display sizes for a limited number of words.
