First seen on MyFonts: October 31st, 2007 Ole NDOle ND is a dingbats mini-family consisting of 2 type styles: Ole Flamenco devoted to Flamenco dancing and Ole Torero devoted to bullfighting. Designed in synthetic and vigorous calligraphic traces, a remarkable feature is that many pictograms in both fonts show visual analogies, to emphasize its shared cultural roots. In its designer’s words, Ole ND fonts are “a tribute to the Spanish spirit. Grasping through typographic signs the Flamenco charm and the bullfighting ceremony”. Ole fonts were selected on 2nd Biennial “Letras Latinas” 2006, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Lima, Montevideo, Santiago, São Paulo, Veracruz. During the Biennial, Ole fonts received the tpG Award, set by tipoGráfica, the excellent type and design magazine of international recognition, published from Argentina up to the end of 2006.
