An original text and display type family was designed for ParaType in 2008 by Manvel Shmavonyan to be used together with Susan, earlier released sans by the same author.

This is a low-contrast slabserif font with open letterforms. Its shape is distinguished by one- and two-sided rounded serifs.

Susan Classic is well suited for short and middle range text composing as well as for use in advertising and display typography.
