PIXymbols Braille

Some words from Page Studio Graphics:

Braille fonts, for manufacturers of architectural signs for the blind, and for editors of instructional materials in braille for the sighted. Meets ADA specifications.

PIXymbols Braille generates braille characters (English Braille Grade 1) without guide dots. It consists of the letters of the alphabet, punctuation, numbers, and a number of composition signs which are special to braille.

PIXymbols Braille Italic (the file is used for character storage, characters are not italicized). This file contains the 189 contractions and short-form words which, together with Grade 1 characters, makes up Grade 2 Braille, also known as “English Braille”.

With PIXymbols BrailleReader, you can type the Grade 1 characters above, in a version for sighted readers, which includes guide dots for reference. This font is designed for the preparation of printed instructions used by sighted readers.

PIXymbols BrailleReader Italic provides the same 189 contractions as in Braille Italic, in a version for sighted readers, which includes guide dots for reference.
