First seen on MyFonts: July 27th, 2005 (Updated: Jul 13th, 06) PrillwitzJohann Carl Ludwig Prillwitz, the German punch cutter and type founder, cut the first classic Didot letters even earlier than Walbaum. The earliest proof of so-called Prillwitz letters is dated 12 April 1790. The famous publisher Georg Joachim Goeschen used these letters for many of his publications.
