Isabelle Roman and its companion Italic were designed as a pair by a renowned female type designer (who for contractual reasons cannot be mentioned in this paragraph), and cut and cast for decades by an historic German foundry.

This beautiful pair are noted for their graceful weight and delicate line. Both the roman and italic are markedly condensed. The face has been a favorite of printers and private presses since it first appeared.
