Caesario is Mike Scarpitti’s newest font, based on the famous inscriptory lettering on the Trajan column in Rome. After searching through many sources, he turned to the drawings of the original column lettering made by Frederic Goudy in 1936.

The superior quality of these drawings combined with the Mike’s faithful reproduction of the characters forms make Caesario the best available representation of the style of this famous incription.
