PerigordA font family tree displays different foundries’ versions, or a foundry’s different cuts, of basically the same typeface design.
PerigordSome words from Scriptorium: Perigord has mixed origins. It was inspired by Guttenberg’s capitals and by lettering developed by German designer Ernst Bentele, but its calligraphic antecedents go back to French initials of the Carolingian period. The result of this is a formal, attractive and antique look which we hope you'll like. The full version includes alternate forms for many of the letters, as well as numbers and punctuation. |
