About the family

Draculon is a swashbuckling shapeshifter of a typeface—equal parts gothic menace and adventurous mischief. Its roots reach back to 15th-century Italian letterforms, but the hand-cut, polygonal edges and unpredictable rhythm give it the swagger of a signboard freshly painted for a pirate ship…or the entrance to a haunted castle.

Every curve and jagged notch carries that rough-hewn, built-by-hand charm. Thanks to its double-character alternates, repeating letters never look identical, so headlines stay lively and unpredictable—perfect for designs that need to feel alive rather than typeset. Draculon thrives where spectacle is the goal. Think spooky or fantasy film titles, adventure-themed book covers, rum bottle labels, pirate festival banners, escape room branding, Halloween packaging, and retro theme park rides. It’s equally at home on the title screen of a sword-and-sorcery video game as it is on a poster summoning guests to a night of ghost stories.

Whether you want to conjure shadows, raise sails, or plunge players into a world of peril and wonder, Draculon delivers the drama.
