Jillsville™A font family tree displays different foundries’ versions, or a foundry’s different cuts, of basically the same typeface design.
JillsvilleSome words from Typodermic: Jillsville is a sweet, delicate font with a fine lines and feminine overtones. She’s light and lithe but "she ain't no wallflower". Reminiscent of a typewriter font but proportionally spaced, Jillsville is ideal for oversized headlines and photographic overlays where a heavier font would look ‘obese’. Jill features inviting, ample looks, the kind of girl you'd be proud to bring home to mother. She’s got dainty little slab serifs on the lower case and plenty of width where it counts. Heck, she even has attractive curls! The nerds reckon that technically, Jill is ‘a square’ slab. Originally she had standard ball-ends, quotes and punctuation, but it made her look ‘heavy’ so she had her boyfriend drill a hole in each. Don't look at me-I just designed her. Like all good girls, Jillsville is ready for all occasions; in normal, italic, bold and bold italic guises. Accessories not sold separately. Batteries not needed. |
