Copy is a contemporary grotesque in its basic design. Its shapes are the result of a connection between formal and typographic features.

The alternate styles Copy Cut and Copy SemiGrotesk use the basic design as a starting point for experimentation. With angular cuts, Copy Cut is breaking the plain shapes of the basic design and adds some significance to the alphabet. Much more complex is Copy SemiGrotesk. For marking text, all three styles have been designed in the additional weights bold and italic. The Copy font family - especially in editorial design - is also very functional in combination of its grotesque and semi grotesque members.
