Nadine is a very elegant Script. I based the design on a set of initials that Bernard Naudin designed around 1920 for Deberny & Peignot. I gave the font a name “Nadine” because that sounds similar to Naudin.
Naudin is in my opinion one of the most underestimated designers of that time. Cassandre and Jackno were his colleagues at D&P but seemed to understand more about promoting themselves. Naudin was not designing fonts that were in fashion in those days, he prefered to do his own thing. More…
