About this font family

The Stebl series of types is a handy micro-family for use for typesetting, display work, branding and packaging work. Stebl Grotesk is a grotesk typeface and matching italic inspired by the classic grotesk designs of the Stephenson Blake Type foundry. Stebl Slab is a complementary slab serif based on the idea that traditional slab serif types are based on a grotesk skeleton more than a traditional serifed framework.

The entire family includes character support for Western, Central and Eastern European languages. Stebl Grotesk and Stebl Grotesk Italic include a range of handy, idiosyncratic semi-swash caps that will lend your design work a distinctive flair. More…

The entire family was given rigorous testing using Craig Mod’s Bibliotype html-based book layout system for on-screen rendering checks and innumerable print proofs using actual text (not Greek) in InDesign.

The long story short:
Webfont family? Check!
Tablet readability? Word up. Done!
Print? Hells yes!
Billboard? Done & done.

The Stebl mini-family is here for you - differentiation through character!
