Founded in 2004, Characters Font Foundry is an independent type foundry, designing, manufacturing and selling high-quality typefaces for creative designers. Characters Font Foundry specializes in creating high-quality custom typefaces for corporate identities and packaging. Besides being a self-taught type designer, René Verkaart is co-founder of Stoere Binken Design, a renowned Dutch graphic design studio based in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
