Biography

Designtown is a one-man company that designs fonts, logos and other graphics.

Designtown is just an artist’s name of Jasper de Waard (that’s me). Maybe you could call it a family-company. My dad helps me with some of the technicalities and my mum makes sure that I also eat and drink enough during the whole process of developing my fonts. My brother and sister are so kind as to test the fonts on Windows XP and Vista (all other family members only use a Mac). The son of a friend of my dad (I hope you still can follow me) is a designer and he also helps me with some of the details.

The goal of Designtown is to create professional fonts, that are totally different from all the rest, for an affordable price. If you have any questions or you just want to now more about Designtown, please have a look at our website.
