MyFonts’ review: The Dingbatcave – “all dingbats, all the time” – is the tasty offering from Ann Stretton and Stan Starbuck, ding’ designers extraordinaire. (If you don’t know, dingbat fonts are collections of little pictures and symbols for you to sprinkle around your design work. Like clip-art, but much easier to use!) This substantial collection of dingbats and ornamental borders is for all occasions. We particularly like Satellite, full of space-retro art. But if you need spirals, hearts, stars, faces, insects (and many others!), you’ll find them here.

Biography

Started in 1997, The Dingbatcave features the original dingbat font creations of artists Ann Stretton and Stan Starbuck. The fonts can be used as borders, decorative lines, frames, web graphic designs, or wherever a unique embellishment is needed. All designs are original and based on Ann or Stan’s physical and digital art and various art movements.
