Born in 1980, Jan Henrik Arnold dedicated his energy to design in the age of 14, sketching graffiti and drafting signs. Following art classes in school opened him the opportunity to study in Konstanz visual communications. After the first year, he relocated to Berlin and joined courses at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam by Lu(as) de Groot. After his diploma in Potsdam in industrial design he worked as designer and in communications. Between his independent work he teached type design and typography at the University of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. He works on own types and for custom types for enterprises, institutions and corporates.
