Lomax Design is a one-man operation located in Layton, Utah.
The company is owned by Jefferson Lomax who has been fascinated with typography since his fourth grade teacher started to teach him calligraphy. Although he didn't know it was called typography until he attended a university design school, he has been drawing his own alphabets for years. Time is the only barrier to getting his hundreds of ideas that are on paper into digital formats.
He lists Rudolf Koch, surf and snowboard designs, calligraphy of all sorts, and his son’s scribbling as inspiration.
