No Bodoni
of Glenview, IL, United States of America

<< >>  ^

MyFonts’ review: No Bodoni fonts are by American designer George Thompson. We particularly like Isbellium, a successful sans-serif interpretation of Americana (the name credits Americana’s designer Richard Isbell), and Parma Typewriter, a rare ultra-sturdy text face in an era of spindly resurrected text fonts. The series of four experimental fonts, Berlinette, Lyonette, Marseillette and Parisette, are all based upon the same geometric form, one that uses offbeat triangular shapes and avoids strict horizontals. Also worth a look is the rustic Claudium.
