Careful detailing and wide weight range make the text faces Walburn and Worldwide fine choices for newspapers, while sharp-seriffed Beaufort is ideal for magazine work. Preface, with numerous weights, novel features and exquisite stroke modulation is a daring alternative to Helvetica. Of his less formal work, stand-outs are the casual script Handsome, the improbable-sounding Bodoni Egyptian, and Eunoia – art deco themes combined with multiple character alternates.
