The Refinery

The Refinery is a type foundry and brand identity shop based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Refinery was formed out of a personal demand for craftsmanship, storytelling, and experimentation by founder and director Brandon Knap. It felt like a social calling, says Brandon, to bring these principles into every aspect of business and design. These three things foster more meaningful creations, type design and brand identity are the perfect platforms to deliver on a promise of quality.
