Wagner

This company controls the library of Wagner and some Weber designs. The original foundry was set up in 1921 by Johannes Wagner with his brother and brother-in-law in Berlin, moving to Ingolstadt in 1956. From a 1986 advertisement in the journal Fine Print: “There is still a real Type Foundry: A broad range of beautiful Berthold, Weber and Wagner types, deliverable on Pica height; all kinds of spacing and brass material, symbols, borders etc. Please ask for a free catalogue and remember us as your partner in all questions of hand composition.”
