Yanky Goldman

Yanky Goldman has been intrigued by lettering as soon as it was introduced to him. He has been forming, designing, calligraphying and sketching Hebrew and Latin letters as soon as his father gifted him with a calligraphy pen at age 7. Demonstrating unusual artistic prowess, Yanky was quickly drafted into the world of letter design. At age 12 he calligraphed diplomas and educational awards. He created his first monogram at age 13 and designed his first architectural memorial wall at age 16. One year later Yanky mastered the art of scribeing exquisite ketubas, or Hebrew marriage contracts before he started his career of professional graphic design. Today Yanky has been immersed in professional branding and package design for more than three decades. In 2014 he founded his own design boutique in Brooklyn, NY. There his creative energy pulses freely allowing for distinct artistic creations. Ringlings, Yanky’s maiden font, was crafted when he set about drafting a logo for his design boutique thus reflecting his flair and individualistic expression. “Designing my first font has been a powerful experience for me,” Yanky said. “It ties together what I’m best and most passionate about; lettering and display.” In addition, Yanky is brimming with ideas for other font styles and is looking forward to start working on them.
