MyFonts’ review: Alphabet Design is a graphic design studio in Oakville, Ontario, its type design the responsibility of Boris Mahovac. The three fun typefaces are: Kalendar, based on geometric lettering in a calendar designed by Croatian architect Ivica Kis; Borek, a funky geometric font with some features of very high-legibility lettering; and Fat Trace a definitely NON-geometric rough, naive design, with an outlined version.

Biography

Alphabet Design is a full-service design, printing and signage studio, where a team of Registered Graphic Designers produce powerful graphic communications: from logos and corporate ID, brochures and product packaging, to signage and wayfinding systems.

Our typography department offers custom and original digital fonts.

We are located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and from here we service clients in Canada, the US and Europe.

The studio is run by Boris Mahovac R.G.D. The designation stands for “Registered Graphic Designer” granted by RGD Ontario. Boris is also a member of Type Directors Club and a proud father of two.
