Fontopia

Fontopia is a one-man type foundry based in Kampen, a city in the Netherlands, run by Peter Slager. When developing new letter fonts Peter does not use the rules for classic typedesign as a starting point. He gets his inspiration from existing stories, then he involves the visible environment of the subjects and regularly looks for a connection to music. After this search he eventually tries to connect his creations with the laws for classic type design.
