MyFonts’ review: Fontron fonts are from Ronald Underwood, a British advertising designer. The lettering in his logos struck Ronald as a good basis for font designs, so this is the result. The fonts β Halfron, Sideron, Arcron and Foldron β are all best used in short texts of just a few characters, so we can easily imagine many more logos being produced from them. We particularly like Foldron β the ambiguity of its folds (which parts are overlapping which other parts?) works very well, and itβs a natural for imaginative coloring. • Browse Fontron Fonts (14) BiographyFontron Foundry came about as an extension of freelance work when some clients requested typographic logos which entailed font design. This has got me into the full font designing process involving all the special characters and accents that go into a font. I have always been interested in typography and design having worked in advertising agencies of various kinds since beginning employment. Some years ago I designed a few (hand-drawn (but not script)) fonts I am trying to digitise at the moment along with other new ones. They will be added to the collection as and when they become ready. Volume Discounts AvailableSave money by purchasing multiple Fontron packages at the same time.
