Biography

Damien Gautier was born in 1971. He studied typography in the "Atelier de création typographique" in École Estienne, Paris.

He is a graphic designer and co-founder of the Trafik team. He works in cultural, institutionnal and industrial areas for identity, editing and multimedia projects. He often goes in several shools and professionnal organizations to teach typography.

He is the author of “Typographie, guide pratique” (2e edition, Pyramyd), a book which show and demonstrate how to use typography with computer tools (in French) – http://www.artdesign.fr. He’s writing and second book "Compo, mise en page(s), guide pratique", available at the end of 2002 (Pyramyd).
