I started making my own hand-written fonts to satisfy the creative need(s) of the design and layout work that I do as a side hustle. I quickly found that a custom font not only made me happier with my work but that the originality of the art benefited greatly from the use of fonts that aren't out in the wild. And, my clients, generally, prefer my custom fonts to most found on the web.
