Turns bitmap images and vector illustrations into fonts.
ScanFont 4 by Fontlab Ltd. is an extension for FontLab or TypeTool that turns bitmap images (TIFF, BMP) and vector illustrations (EPS -- version 4 only) into fonts. It can be used to turn handwriting or printed lettering into computer fonts, digitize logos and symbols, create clipart fonts and even convert obsolete font formats into Type 1 or TrueType fonts. ScanFont is available for Windows (only version 3 as of February 2004) and MacOS 9.2/MacOS X (version 4).
