KABK

Renowned school in The Hague, Holland, for graphic design, type design and typography.

KABK (Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten), located in The Hague, is one of the leading art and design schools in the Netherlands.

The school is very strong in typography and type design, offering a post-graduate course in Type and Media, formerly the course in Type Design and Typography.

Many of the current generation of Dutch type designers have come through its programs, and several have gone on to teach. Teachers at the school include Gerrit Noordzij, Erik van Blokland, Just van Rossum, Peter Bilak, Gerard Unger, Fred Smeijers, Peter Verheul and Paul van der Laan.
