The Cinecav™ X family is based on Cinecav™, a typeface created for closed caption television (CCTV) applications. Cinecav™ X is perfect for other video screen based applications such as videogames, DVD menus, iTV, and video kiosks, but unlike the standard Cinecav™ family, Cinecav™ X can't be used in closed caption systems which require specialized character sets.
Cinecav™ is available in OpenType format only. Cinecav™ has accents for: Albanian, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish and includes class based kerning.
