Adrian Frutiger of Switzerland
Born: Unterseen, 1928
Contemporary Swiss graphic designer, typographer and type designer of imagination and consummate craftsmanship, associated with Deberny & Peignot, Bauer and Linotype.
In 1987 he was awarded the TDC Medal, the award from the Type Directors Club presented to those “who have made significant contributions to the life, art, and craft of typography”.
In 2006 he was awarded the SOTA Typography Award.
