Ed Benguiat
Prolific New York type designer and accomplished lettering artist, associated with Photo-Lettering and ITC, influential in the revival of Art Nouveau typefaces.
In 1989 he was awarded the TDC Medal, the award from the Type Directors Club presented to those “who have made significant contributions to the life, art, and craft of typography”.
