Arthur Ritzel of Germany


Ritzel

Headed the letter drawing office at Stempel from World War II until his retirement in the late 1960s. He was responsible for the redrawing of Haas Neue Grotesk into Helvetica, and fully designed his own newspaper face, Rotazion.
