David Rakowski of United States of America

Born: St. Albans, Vermont, 1958

Contemporary American composer, recipient of numerous awards and commissions. He is well-known among font collectors for designing numerous typefaces, and creating revivals of others, mainly from the 19th century. He is Associate Professor of Composition at Brandeis University, and has previously taught at Harvard University, Columbia University, and Stanford University.

Davy also knows a thing or two about beer.
