Göran Söderström

Göran Söderström is a self-taught Swedish type designer and font developer.

The typeface that started his obsession with type in 1994 was the initial sketches for his first typeface, Exemplar, but it was not until 2006 he took this obsession seriously and started his own type studio, Autodidakt.

Since then he has published several typefaces through different foundries.

Today Göran works with typeface development at Pangea design in Stockholm where he has developed custom typefaces for SEB, LO and others. When not doing typefaces he likes to pick up one of his favorite instruments, the guitar or the bass guitar.
