Heinrich Jost of Germany
Born: Magdeburg, 1889
Died: Frankfurt am Main, 1948
German designer active in the 1920s and 1930s and art director at Bauer, where he oversaw the work of innovative designers Paul Renner, Lucian Bernhard and Imre Reiner. His artistic estate is now housed in the Klingspor Museum, Offenbach.
