Born in 1976 near Berlin, Jan Fromm studied graphic design at the University of Applied Science Potsdam.

He has been addicted to typography since attending the typedesign courses of Luc(as) de Groot.

Now he works as a freelancer in the fields of illustration, web, corporate and type design for several Berlin companies.

Since joining FontFabrik in 2004 he has extended his competence in designing, programming and producing multilingual typefaces.
