Joachim Romann of GermanyBorn: Danzig, Poland, 1916 In 1932, Joachim Romann attended the Danzig Arts and Crafts College, where he studied lithography until 1937. He then studied type design in Offenbach until 1941. He became a printing arts teacher and simultaneously worked as a type designer for the Klingspor foundry until 1948.
