John Bell of United Kingdom

Born: 1746
Died: 1831

London publisher of several periodicals and newspapers. The Morning Post was published from 1772 to 1937. In 1777 Bell released the first of his 109-volume series on The Poets of Great Britain. In 1788 he started the British Letter Foundry, with Richard Austin as punchcutter. The foundry closed in 1798.
