Jonathan Hill was born in Sheffield, England in 1971. He graduated from Newcastle College of Art & Design in 1994. His profession began working as a freelancer, designing event graphics for local music clubs and gig venues. In 1999 he moved to London to joined Mainartery; an ideas-led studio working solely for the music industry. During the next few years Jonathan refined his craft as a graphic designer producing a variety of highly conceptual music packaging.

In 2006 Jonathan came back to his hometown in Yorkshire, England. Inspired by music, computer gaming and mechanical machinery TNB (The Northern Block) was founded.

Jonathan’s aim is to create, develop and promote new and exciting typefaces, which can be used across a diverse range of media. Other facilities include the design of event graphics, music packaging, t-shirts, character design and 3-D rendering.
