Peter Beilenson of United States of America

Born: 1905
Died: 1962

American printer, proprietor of the Walpole Printing Office and the Peter Pauper Press, at Mount Vernon, New York. Many fine, yet inexpensive editions were produced.

Beilenson wrote a biography of Fred Goudy, for whom he worked for a while, The Story of Frederic W. Goudy (Peter Pauper Press, 1965).

After his death, the business was ably carried on by his widow, Edna Beilenson.
