With a nod to the Golden Age of children’s stories, this delightful font will have many uses. ‘Luceat’ is the Latin for ‘shine’ and we arer sure you will agree that this is a shining example of the genre.
Due to the modular nature of this design there may be a very slight lack of smoothness to the curves at extremely large point sizes (around 200 pt and above).
Based on William Caslon’s design (c1720) which was itself based on Dutch Baroque typefaces. The old saying “when in doubt, use Caslon.” can now be updated ... “use RM Almanack instead!”
