Charles Nicolas Cochin of France

Born: Paris, 1715
Died: Paris, 1790

Mid-eighteenth century French engraver. Also known as Charles Nicolas Cochin le jeune (the younger).

Georges Peignot designed two fonts and named them after Cochin, one in 1912, and another in 1914. Neither is very representative of Cochin’s work.
