Marco Ganz of SwitzerlandBorn: Zurich, 1961 After attending Zürich School of Design and completing his graphic design apprenticeship, Marco Ganz established his own graphic design studio in 1983 where he designed Linotype Mano, a script-like text face. Ganz worked as graphic designer in New York from 1987 to 1989, after which he returned to Zürich. He also designed Linotype Veto, a sans-serif type family. Ganz won national design prizes in both 1990 and 1996. He was instructor of Type Design at the Luzern School of Design in 1997 and 1998. Beginning in 1997, he exhibited sculptures and wall objects and has been working exclusively as an artist since 1999.
