Raymond Gid of France

Born: 1905
Died: Paris, 2000

French typographer, one of the participants in that exclusive gathering of typographiles, les Rencontres de Lure, along with Maximilien Vox, Charles Peignot, and Roger Excoffon. He designed posters for many films, for Club Mediterranée, for Bally shoes, and for the non-commercial interests of the Spanish Civil War and Amnesty International.
