Hannibal Ingalls Kimball of USA

Born: 1874
Died: 1933

American proprietor of private presses first in partnership with Herbert Stuart Stone, then on his own as the Cheltenham Press in New York. He wished to follow in William Morris’ footsteps. At his instigation, Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue drew the Cheltenham design. Both Bruce Rogers and Will Bradley designed book covers for the Stone and Kimball press.
