Armenian type fanatic, with keen interests in controlling word-shapes, or ‘boumas’ as he calls them, to speed up reading. He also claims hand-tuned gray-scale bitmap fonts are the best way to design fonts for the screen. He holds the record (by a considerable margin) for the most postings in a single week to typography-related Internet mailing lists.
